Tan-delta measurements are based on innovative sensing technique measuring voltage and currents at the bushings or along ground leads. Specifically developed for cables and transformers applications, it provides trendings and alarms at fixed thresholds overcoming. It gives relative variations of tan-delta factors, or absolute values provided an initial assessment of the tan-delta value is done. It can monitor leakage currents and power loss variations. It can be used integrated with Techimp Global monitoring systems with a full compatibility with PDCheck and PD measurements. It is provided with a simple user interface with SW tools for trends analysis and visualization. It manages alarms locally through clean contacts or centralizaed in our Global Monitoring System graphic interface.
